CHRISTMAS TREE CUTTING EXPERIENCE
Over the river and through the woods, to Snow Mountain Ranch we go! Make holiday memories with us in our annual Christmas Tree Cutting Experience. Why wait to celebrate the holidays when you can spread Christmas cheer all season long? Come up for a pre-Christmas stay in a cozy cabin or lodge room and get into the holiday spirit while helping us sustainably manage our forests!

SNOW MOUNTAIN RANCH TREE CUTTING EXPERIENCE
Gather your loved ones and set out on an adventure through the Snow Mountain Ranch forest to find the perfect Christmas tree. All you have to bring is your Christmas spirit, we’ll provide the rest! Come cut down your Christmas tree with us starting the day after Thanksgiving through December 17. Just visit the Program building, present your ticket, and pick up all the tools you need to cut down your perfect Christmas tree. Snow Mountain Ranch will provide hand saws and twine so you can cut down your tree, then strap it to your car. You’re welcome to bring your own tools, however chainsaws and other electric tools are prohibited.*

TREE CUTTING INFORMATION
Trees that are off-limits will be marked. Please do not cut down marked trees. If you have questions about a tree, please ask the Snow Mountain Ranch staff.
Snow Mountain Ranch will provide handsaws and ropes.
Guests must tie their own trees down.
Guests are welcome to bring their own tools however, chainsaws and any electric equipment ARE NOT PERMITTED.
The cutting area will be in the forest between the library and the dog park.
PARKING
Guests are welcome to park in the Library parking lot.
TREE CUTTING TICKET
Guests will receive a tree cutting ticket upon lodging check in or upon the purchase of a $29 tree cutting ticket. The purchase of a ticket also covers one activity day pass.
Guests must check in with Snow Mountain Ranch Staff at the Program Building.
COZY WINTER WONDERLAND
Once you’ve gotten your tree, get the Christmas creativity flowing with special holiday-themed crafts and activities. Participate in the Cozy Winter Wonderland event in the Snow Mountain Ranch library every weekend between November 25 and December 17, 2023 from 2pm to 5pm on Saturdays and 9:30am to noon on Sundays. The Cozy Winter Wonderland event includes holiday-themed crafts, hot cocoa and hot apple cider, and a holiday storytime. For holiday cheer on the weekdays, make sure to head to the craft shop for all of our Christmas crafts.
