Welcome to Snow Mountain Ranch!

Our breathtaking mountain vistas and abundant winter wonder will keep you in awe your whole stay with us. We put together a three-day itinerary for your next winter mountain getaway, so you can make the most of your next trip to Snow Mountain Ranch!

Day 1

Check-in and get cozy
Grab some hot cocoa or a latte from the Buckboard Grill while you check-in and then head to your cabin or lodge room and get cozy! Swing by the Library to check out the board games and puzzles, free to borrow for your stay! Grab some dinner at the Schlessman Commons or check out one of the many restaurants in Winter Park or Granby.

Day 2

Explore our Nordic Center
Rent your cross-country skis from our Nordic Center and hit the trails! You can also schedule a lesson with an expert, if you aren’t quite ready to venture out on your own. With over 85km of groomed ski and snowshoe trails, you’ll see why our Nordic Center was named in USA Today’s Top 10 Cross Country Ski Resorts in the Country.
Learn more about the Nordic Center here.

Not sure about skiing? For something a little less technical, slide down our tubing hill or strap on some ice skates and enjoy the simple joys of winter at Snow Mountain Ranch.

Take a sleigh ride
Contact Rocky Mountain Stables, located right on Snow Mountain Ranch property, to schedule a horse drawn sleigh ride through the snow-covered forest. Snuggle up under warm blankets and sip on hot cocoa as you take a trip back in time. Book here!

Day 3

Experience Dog Sledding
Redemption Dog Sled Tours offers riders a unique adventure right at Snow Mountain Ranch. Let these canine athletes give you a thrilling ride you won’t soon forget.
