North Pole “Train” Experience
Thursdays-Sundays: November 26-December 26th
Dress in your best holiday pajamas! Start the adventure at the Maude Jellison Library for a story-time reading of the famous children’s book, The Polar Express. Then, climb aboard the Christmas “train” as we travel to the North Pole. Join in for singing carols and view the Christmas lights around the YMCA as the “train” chugs along. After a 15-minute journey, disembark at the Dorsey Museum, where Santa awaits the passengers. Be greeted with hot cocoa and cookies, and Santa will share special time with each of the passengers. While at the museum, explore what life was like in the Rocky Mountains one-hundred years ago. Climb back aboard the Christmas “train” for a return trip back to the Library. This activity is free, but advanced registration is required. Train does not run on Thanksgiving or Christmas Day.
