Mountaineering Weekend Highlights:

The 7th Annual mountaineering weekend helps further the YMCA of the Rockies' mission to introduce individuals and families to the outdoors. We offer unique programming options that help orient guests in theNo Barriers mountains year-round. This year, we are focusing on accessibility, partnering with the No Barriers organization to host speakers and activities that make the mountains accessible for all.
Mountaineering Weekend features educational sessions on winter survival tips and mountaineering skills, guided snowshoe hikes & winter ecology explorations in RMNP, a dog sled presentation, ice climbing demonstrations, and much more! . Regular YMCA of the Rockies programs will be running throughout the weekend, providing a great opportunity to check out the Craft and Design Center, rent some ice skates (weather depending), or take a dip in the indoor pool.

All Mountaineering Weekend activities are free for guests staying in lodge rooms or cabins. Booking & advanced registration is required for some weekend activities, booking links coming soon! Day passes for guests staying off-grounds are also available for $25 per person, per day.
