Race Details

Freestyle races will be on Saturday, with classic races on Sunday.  We will have a free BBQ picnic for race participants and a bonfire and pasta dinner on Saturday night. The course will be a new 10.5km loop.  We have worked to eliminate road crossings, increase the spectator experiences, eliminate the need to carry water, and gear the course for the citizen racer.  The 2013 Stampede will be an American Birkebeiner & Kortelopet qualifier.

Stampede Race Wax Options:

Toko - Wax Clinic Friday March 1st 6:00pm:
(First 8 people to check in with rep will receive a free race wax)

Start - Performance HF 3 layer race wax $65 through Nordic Shop

Swix - Rep will be available day of race

BNS - BNS Mobile will be making the trek up to the Snow Mountain Stampede to provide race wax service and make wax recommendations for the Skate races on Saturday and the classic races on Sunday.

Drop off your skis at BNS in Boulder before noon on Friday and pick up your skis race morning at Snow Mountain Ranch race prepped by Nathan Schultz with base layers, fluoro powder and topcoats.  Race service for Sunday's classic races will include kick wax.  Additional drop-off for classic skis for Sunday's races can be made at Snow Mountain Ranch after the skate race.
