Free childrens nordic ski lesson for ages 6-12 for the 2009/2010 Nordic Center season. Lessons available for guests staying at Snow Mountain Ranch. Parents must accompany children to lesson 30 min prior to lesson and can not leave Snow Mountain Ranch property for safety reasons.

With more than 100 kilometers of trails we can accommodate everyone from the first-time skier or snow-shoer to the elite racer. Beginners can ski on short loops around the Nordic Center while the experienced racer can train on longer trails with steeper climbs.
Beyond cross country skiing, families and groups can enjoy ice skating, sledding & tubing, snowshoeing and sleighrides. Sombroro Stables
The Nordic Center's full-service ski shop is where you will find great deals on lessons and ski and snowshoe rental packages. We also have the latest Nordic gear and apparel for sale. The shop offers brands such as Swix, Craft, Fischer, Madhaus, Alpina and more. To re-energize, visit the Skinny Ski Cafe and enjoy a light snack or warm up with a chili bread bowl.
More than 20,000 skiers per year visit our property covering 5,200 acres of mountain meadows at an altitude of 9,000 feet. Your canine companion can even join you on some of the trails, making sure that both you and your pup are getting a good workout.
Summer at the Nordic Center means it is time to get your bike ready. You might be on the same trails, but the view is completely different over the handlebars! Trails are for all abilities and weekend races energize all kinds of summer athletes. Running, biking and even a triathlon.
