Fall at Snow Mountain Ranch

Adventure on 5,100+ Acres this Fall. Experience the Rockies.

When the aspens turn, Snow Mountain Ranch turns gold. At 8,700 feet near Winter Park and Granby, our 5,100 acres trade summer's buzz for cool, quiet trails, low-angle light, and the kind of crisp mountain air that makes you zip your jacket and keep walking. This is fall in the Rockies without the bumper-to-bumper crowds — wide open, room for everyone, and easy on the budget.

Discover the Best of Fall in the Colorado Rockies

Our trails wind straight through stands of quaking aspen that light up gold and amber from mid-September into October. Lace up for a family hike, saddle up for a guided horseback ride through the color, or just find a meadow and let the kids run. The Continental Divide sits on the horizon the whole time.

Fall here is a season you feel as much as see. Aspen leaves clatter and shiver in the wind. Breathe in air that's turned crisp and clean, savor the last warm sun on your face before winter settles in, and catch that fallen-leaves scent that means summer has let go.

  • Self-guided aspen trails for every age and pace
  • Horseback rides through the fall colors
  • Wide meadows and Divide views made for photos
