New Chaplain's Endowment Created for YMCA of the Rockies

March 2026

We are excited to share that a gift from staff alumni Dr. Paul and Diana Miller has established the YMCA of the Rockies Chaplain's Endowment, supporting ministry programs at both Snow Mountain Ranch and Estes Park Center!

The Millers' connection to YMCA of the Rockies began in 1965, when they met while working at Estes Park Center. Over the decades, they returned as a young married couple, then visited regularly with their three children.

Now they participate in annual "GrandCamp" retreats for grandparents and their school-age grandchildren, supported by the chapel staff.

Dr. Miller shared, "Throughout the six decades since that beginning, the YMCA's chapel ministry has been a source of spiritual inspiration, encouragement, and expression for us and many others. We are very pleased to help create this permanent endowment to promote and enhance the commitment to ministry in this area."

Chapel programs serve guests and staff through activities such as Sunday worship services, community prayer gatherings, campfire sing-alongs, adventure ministry, concerts, Bible studies, and more.

We are grateful to the Millers for establishing this endowment and for strengthening the Christian mission at the heart of YMCA of the Rockies.
