Special Themed Family Weekends at YMCA of the Rockies
Throughout the autumn, winter and spring, YMCA of the Rockies offers specialty themed family weekends for all ages. The weekend packages include lodging, meals and activities starting Friday evening and ending Sunday morning. It is a great way for families who have never been to the Y to discover all there is to offer, and for returning guests to reconnect. Packages at Estes Park Center and Snow Mountain Ranch include two nights in a lodge room, meals and listed activities. If you are interested in staying in a cabin during a Family Weekend, additional meal or activity fees will be charged.

SNOW MOUNTAIN RANCH
located between Winter Park Ski Resort and the town of Grand Lake, this 5,000 acre resort is located an hour and a half west of Denver.
Join us for outdoor guided hikes, a pumpkin throwing contest, mini-golf tournament, campfire, indoor crafts, climbing wall and a family movie. Decorate pumpkins and dress in costume for the Fall Fest Carnival!
Spend the weekend with your family at our winter playground! Activities include an outdoor family campfire, guided snowshoe hikes, family snowshoe race, sledding, tubing, indoor crafts, climbing wall, swimming and a movie. Decorate gingerbread houses and enjoy family square dancing!
Create special keepsakes and have fun in the process! Families enjoy making various crafts including ceramics, stained glass and so much more! Come be creative!

Family Camp at CCO: Labor Day Weekend, September 4-7, 2009
Round up the family and get away to the beauty of the Colorado Rockies and the good ol' days of summer camp.
Parents, grandparents, teens and children enjoy traditional camp activites such as swimming, arts & crafts, archery , hiking, canoeing, fishing, horseback riding and more. Together you'll learn new skills, bond through teamwork and create lasting memories. Bring the entire family for a good dose of summer camp magic!

Women's Fitness Camp at CCO: August 21-26, 2009
Strictly for the ladies - sorry guys! If you are a woman over the age of 18 and interested in improving your fitness level, learning about balanced nutrition, and living a healthier life then this camp is for you! Take time out to focus on yourself and enjoy spectacular mountain scenery. Camp fills early!
Typical daily activities include: Tai Chi, Mountain Biking, Hiking, Yoga, Fitball, Race Walking, Archery, Dance. Evening Activities include: Guest Speakers and Recreational Time.

Why should the kids have all the fun! Get away and enjoy time in the mountains designed specially with YOU in mind! This camp designed with your special interests and abilities in mind. Experience crafts, water aerobics, card games, hiking, woodcarving, or try your hand at knitting. The choice is yours - be as active or as relaxed as you like in our fun and supportive environment.

ESTES PARK CENTER
This 860 -acre family resort is located an hour and a half northwest of Denver and is surrounded on three sides by the magnificent Rocky Mountain National Park.
Enjoy the sights, sounds and fun that autumn brings! The whole family will enjoy pumpkin carving and painting, crafts, archery, a family campfire with s'mores, a family square dance and more!
Experience winter in the Rockies with activities including snowshoeing and/or hiking, ice skating and broom ball. Learn winter survivial skills, decorate gingerbread houses and do crafts in our brand new Craft and Design Center. Everyone in the family will enjoy a family winter carnival and much more! Kids and adults will witness and learn amazing and very fun magic tricks through demonstration and instruction. Take a peek inside a real magician's bag to learn about tips and tools for a great magic show. We will also have lots of other outdoor and indoor recreation available including, swimming, roller skating, mini-golf and more!
Join troops from all over Colorado and Wyoming for a weekend of activity and fellowship. Planned activities will help scouts earn two badges over the weekend: Camp Together and Your Outdoor Surroundings. We will also offer outdoor sports and activities including Survival and Orienteering.
