Family Reunion & Group Programming
Custom activities for your family reunion or group! We are glad to set up programs for your family reunion or group when you call a minimum of 2 weeks in advance. Most activities can be scheduled through your conference coordinator or the program office. High Challenge Course and Teambuilding must be scheduled with the outdoor education director. Please refer to the activity guidelines below when scheduling a program. 970-887-2152 x4130Cancelation Policy - All groups not canceling activities at least 2 weeks prior to the scheduled activity will be held responsible for the full amount of the scheduled program.
Orientations

Availability: Year-round
Cost: Free
Description: A program or conference staff person will come to your meeting room or lodging facility (Family reunion cabins) to provide a brief orientation to Snow Mountain Ranch.
Archery
Availability: Year-Round
Maximum 10 people per 1 hour
Minimum age 7
Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult 18 years or older
Cost: $20 per reserved session
Meeting Place: Archery range
Description: Participants will receive instructions in safety and technique, and then have time to practice their skills.
Canoeing
Availability: Summer and Fall
Maximum 20 people per 1 hour
Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult 18 years or older
Cost: $100 per reserved session
Meeting Place: Reservoir
Description: Participants receive basic instruction and safety guidelines of canoeing. Then they can enjoy paddling on our reservoir.
Climbing Wall
Availability: Year-round
Maximum 15 people per 90 minutes
Minimum age 4, Children under 12 must be accompanied by a paying adult belayer
Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult 18 years or older
Cost: $75 per reserved session
Meeting Place: Kiva
Description: Using our indoor wall, participants will be instructed in safety techniques and equipped with harnesses. In this “challenge by choice” activity, participants will decide how far to push themselves as well as work together to keep each other safe.
Guided Snow Shoe Hikes
Availability: Winter
Groups of 15 or less are best
Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult 18 years or older
Cost: $180 per reserved session
Meeting Place: Nordic Center
Description: We have multiple options:
A)Peter's Trail - Easy Nature Hike.
B)Revelation Point - Intermediate Hike with elevation gain. Great views.
C)First Peak of Snow Mountain. - Difficult lunch and snack needed.
All hikers need to bring water and dress in layers. Hiking boots or Sorrel type boots are best. We also do Full-moon hikes.
High Challenge Course

Availability: Spring, Summer and Fall
Maximum: 20 people per 3 hours
Minimum: age 12
Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult 18 years or older
Cost: $300 per reserved session
Meeting Place: Legett Building
Description: The course is a series of obstacles, 30 feet in the air, designed to promote group cooperation and individual achievement. Participants will navigate through the course with state of the art climbing gear while our trained staff and other participants offer support.
Teambuilding
Availability: Year-round
Ratio1:15 (min 8), minimum 2 hours
Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult 18 years or older

Description: These activities present your participants with group problem solving situations where they will be required to communicate, trust, support, plan and be persistent in order to solve the task at hand. Great for participants 9 years and older. This is a “Challenge by Choice” activity.
Zip Line
Availability: Spring, Summer and Fall, closed until spring 2005
Maximum 10 people per 90 minutes
Minimum age 10
Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult 18 years or older
Cost: $80 per reserved session
Meeting Place: Kiva
Description: Learn how to properly put on a climbing harness then take a ride across a field on our 300 foot long zip line.
Guided Hikes
Availability: Spring, Summer and Fall
Minimum Time: 2 hours
Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult 18 years or older
Cost: $20 per reserved session
Meeting Place: Program Building
Description: The Adventure staff invite you to join them on a guided hike. We can’t wait to share our knowledge and the beautiful Rocky Mountain Scenery with you.
Equipment: Water (2 Quarts or more), Sturdy Shoes, Rain Gear, A snack or sack lunch dependent on hike length, Sunscreen, Insect Repellent
Guests will need to provide transportation or share a ride with other guests. Volunteer drivers are appreciated!
Outdoor Education Classes
Availability: Dependent on class
Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult 18 years or older
Time Frames: 2 hours
Cost: $30 per reserved session, under 15 participants
