Christine Webb is the owner of The Artists’ Nook in Fort Collins. She has been stamping and creating art for about 13 years. The store reflects her desire for the more artistic side of rubber stamping. She enjoys teaching and helping people with their art projects. Her biggest joy in life, besides caring for her five boys ("this includes my husband"), is watching a person grow artfully!

Dates & Time:
April 19th & 20th, 9:00am- 4:00pm
Class Description:
It could happen any time, tornado,
Earthquake, Armageddon. It could happen.
Or sunshine, love, salvation.
It could, you know. That's why we wake
And look out—no guarantees
in this life.
But some bonuses, like morning,
like right now, like noon,
like evening.

This class is about celebrating the moment and living in the now. The YMCA is a magical place, and we will set about making art having everything to do with our time there. Through poetry, calligraphy, journaling, drawing, wax rubbings, collage, and other visual exercises, we will travel around the grounds creating a series of embellished pages that contain appreciation, attention and awareness of the place where we are, both mentally and physically. At the end of the weekend we will bind the pages together in a simple book, as a permanent record of our experience.
Huge messy fun will be had by all in the splendor of the Rocky Mountains. Both working alone and in collaboration with others, we will celebrate the opportunity to be in that moment, in that place.
We look forward to a fun, lively, interactive art making time!
