International Application Information

Thank you for your interest in applying to the YMCA of the Rockies.  To begin the application process, please take the following steps:

  1.  Submit a cover letter stating your interest and qualification for the program along with your most up to date resume.
  2. Complete the YMCA of the Rockies Application
    Estes Park Center -Estes Park, Colorado
    Snow Mountain Ranch -  Winter Park, Colorado
    Follow the instructions carefully.  For selecting the position, you will be an international student or an international non-student.  The YMCA of the Rockies requires a family reference in addition to 2 professional references.  Please have your references submitted through this link.

  3.  Please fill out the trainee opportunities page which is attached to this email and return it with resume and cover letter.
  4.  Email or fax all application materials to:

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: 

DATES:  Tentative start dates for the program are March 15, 2009 for Estes Park Center and April 1, for Snow Mountain Ranch.  Early submission of applications is recommended but the deadline for submitting applications is January 1, 2009.

SELECTION:  Not all applicants are selected to participate in the Multinational Leadership Training Program.  The MNTP is a highly competitive program with limited availability.  You will be contacted by email regarding the status of your application.

TRAINING PLANS:  Your education and experience must directly relate to your training here at the YMCA of the Rockies.  It is recommended that you become familiar with the training plan you are interested in before interviewing for the trainee and intern positions.  Visit HERE or email Jacie Gdovicak at jaciegdovicak@ymcarockies.org for the most up to date training plan in your field.
