We’re making history…again!
The YMCA of the Rockies is excited to debut a new conference center and lodge this summer.
The 100-room Longs Peak Lodge will provide retreats, families and conferences with gorgeous rooms and comfortable gathering areas inside and out. Update: Longs Peak Lodge is now complete and ready for guests. View the photo gallery here.
The new conference hall is attached to the back of the Ruesch Auditorium and will have seating for 1,000. The conference hall will serve groups large and small with flexible meeting spaces that have sophisticated A/V and other amenities. It opens July 10.
In the works are two more lodges – one with 60 rooms and one with 40 rooms – that will open in 2010.
One of our East-Side lodges has been converted to staff housing, so the net number of new rooms in 2009 will be 25.
The renovation and development of this core area is part of a 20-year vision for the YMCA of the Rockies. The new construction centralizes facilities that serve retreats and conferences.
