Wilderness Leadership

Wilderness Leadership (WIL)
This is a program designed for those between the ages of 16 & 18 with previous backpacking experience and a genuine desire to pursue an extended wilderness experience. The focus of WIL is on a 14-day backpacking trip in the Wind River Mountains of Wyoming. Participants will learn how to select routes and campsites, practice map and compass skills, and find their own leadership style.
