Camp Scholarship Fund

Thanks to the generous donations of many people, Camp Chief Ouray has been fortunate enough to never turn away a camper because they could not afford camp. The value of a full scholarship to attend a week of Traditional Camp is $530. If you would like more information on giving or receiving please contact us.

HOW DOES CCO SELECT “CAMP FIRE CIRCLE” SCHOLARSHIPS?

Scholarships are available for families in need. If you to meet one of the following criteria you may be eligible.

· Single Parent

· One or both parents have lost employment causing

financial strain

· Grandparents raising grandchildren

· Low median household income

· Extenuating Financial Circumstances

Scholarships are awarded based on need and a first come, first served basis. There is no deadline for your application however spaces are NOT saved for scholarship applicants. To ensure a place in a camp session with a financial award, we highly recommend returning your completed application immediately upon receipt. All information supplied will be held in the strictest confidence

Scholarships are currently available for 2010 sessions. Please submit the Scholarship Form to be considered for a full or partial scholarship to camp. Once your application is submitted you will hear from our camp office within 5 business days concerning the scholarship.
